I created the original post last week. As I was a little disappointed it didn't get any response I went ahead and deleted the post. Then I got to thinking, perhaps I should have put an explanation of why I had created it. No doubt you've seen my anecdotal posts where we eavesdrop on part of a conversation Jim Bob and Joe Zeb are having. In The Waltons Joe Zeb only lived a short time after his birth (The Secret). That episode hit me hard and I've often wondered what things would have been like had he lived. Most of the Walton boys have had some form of love interest at one time or another, the only one that hasn't is Joe Zeb how could he? One character in The Waltons I really hated is Martha Rose Coverdale, but as time went on and the more I watched her, the more I became fond of her and in the Two Brothers thread, I thought here's an ideal opportunity to create a love interest between her and Joe Zeb. 
The Song I chose was 10CC's I'm Not In Love. The way I interpret the song is, it's about a boy who is on the cusp of having his first love, but is not too sure of his feelings. But is Martha Rose in love with Joe Zeb? Deep down he knows she isn't and is in denial about it. Joe Zeb: I had a dream about Martha Rose Coverdale last night. Jim Bob: Did you? Joe Zeb: No she wouldn't let me. +++ Joe Zeb: I never knew being in love can hurt so much. Jim Bob: Martha Rose. Joe Zeb: Yes Jim Bob: Why not ask her for a date? Joe Zeb: I did. Jim Bob: And. Joe Zeb: She went to Ike Godsey's and bought me a boxful. |

I thought that it was funny in the first place but now that I am back to work I am limited for time to reply
Sorry, but they are long days/nights that are made even longer by living in hotels nationwide.
Got a few days off soon. Catch up with you then my friend and the rest of the forum

Try not to feel disappointed if you don't get much of a response.... I've never felt a rhyme nor reason why this happens sometimes.... unless it's a quite "repetitive" subject..... |

Since Joe Zeb and Jim Bob were twins and possibly would have shared many of the same likes and dislikes they may have both vied for the attention of the lovely Patsy Brimmer? That would make for an interesting triangle.

I've posted threads here (and in other forums I visit) which have received zero responses. I would never think of deleting it and then posting it again and explaining why. That is a demand for attention and a slap in the face of the other members to give it to you.

That is a demand for attention and a slap in the face of the other members to give it to you. It was never my intention to demand attention, and I resent the implication. I do wish people wouldn't be so pre-judgmental without knowing the facts about someone they have never met. I was born with a thinned skinned personalty and I'm quick to take offense. I'm not only thin skinned I'm also introverted. It's not my fault, you don't know what I had to go through when I was a child, having to get up for school each morning and face the school bullies when I got there. |
