Has anyone noticed these things in certain episodes? The Chicken Thief- When the children are walking home from school, and Jim Bob and Jason are racing, you can see the camera for a split second on the bottom of your screen. The Burn Out- When the family are in the barn after the fire, as the camera is going off of Ben, he smiles, like he's laughing at someone or something. The Foundling-When the sheriff comes to get Holly, she leaves the doll on the cellar door and if you keep watching the doll, someone moves it when no one is there. The Burn Out-When Mary Ellen and Erin are in the bedroom, and Erin is looking at herself in the mirror, she says her lines, and it looks like Mary Ellen is saying them too. The Scholar-When Miss Hunter is speaking to Elizabeth, the blackboard in the background says, ( in children's printing)," you are wrong, do what I say" I love the Waltons, and watch episodes everyday, and just happened to notice these little things. Just wondering if anyone else has, or if anyone has seen other little things?

Interesting daniela. I hadn't watched quite that closely and there must have been some reasons for them or as you say bloopers. Ghosts? Who knows lol but I'll look out for them when I watch and tell you If I see anything. Best wishes. wmfan

Ok, something I noticed when I was watching "The Children's Carol". At least I think it was. It was a Christmas episode anyway. I always watch with the closed captions turned on and on the screen when it showed the exterior of the house, the caption said "Crickets chirping". And you could hear them as well. Hello! There would not be crickets chirping in Virginia in the Blue Ridge in December. Perhaps instead of filming a new exterior shot they used an old one to save time and money. I realize the show was filmed in California and that's why the weather never seemed to change. Little House and and Dr. Quinn were also filmed in California.

Also in the Burnout, you can see someone through the front door after John, John Boy and Erin finally got of the house.

I believe, in the opening scene of The Parting, Olivia is outside on the front porch talking with Jim-Bob, and the camera looks through the front window (which drapes are open) into the living room, but at the end of the conversation with Olivia, Jim-Bob steps through the front door into the living room but the drapes are closed and you cannot see outside onto the front porch.

But what we really want to know is if pa had his shirt off exposing his freshly shaved chest (cause gosh knows he had plenty of time to do THAT)

You'll have to go frame by frame and use the pause and rewind button to examine this kind of the way they'll break down a play in football during the Super Bowl. Get out the telestrator. lol wmfan

wmfan, I do that with the Waltons just to see the weird expressions on the actors faces. It's fun to pause, go, pause, go, rewind, pause again, etc... Idle hands..

On the Townie when they are coming back from the movie and John Boy and Sarah are in the back of the truck you can see someone standing on the running board by the drivers window when john is driving.
