Okay, let's be fair here! Anyone got any Jim-Bob bloopers? His long hair in the later seasons does not count because it is so blatantly obvious.

:)Did anyone see the bloopers I mentioned above? Thanks for the added ones, I watched them. Of the ones you mentioned, Daniela, the only one I spotted was Ben's smile in The Burnout.... You've got a good eye! One thing I have noticed is that the truck usually looks like it's just been washed -- only occasionally do we see some road dust on it..... weird. Yet, approriately, woodwork in the house (door jambs, etc.) shows lots of dirty fingerprints. Somehow, think Liv and Grandma would have kept up with that better !!

He's a real cutie. BUT, and you can't call this a real blooper -- he almost ALWAYS looks rather sullen. WHY? Only very occasionally do we get his adorable smile.....

In S01 E21 the scholar, John boy teaches Verdi to read, in the end of the episode Verdi is catching the bus to go to her daughters graduation, Verdi sat in the front seat on the bus, I'm not American but from what I have learnt is that coloured people sat at the back of the bus.

Re: Pa Ingall's shirt. It drives me crazy...his shirt is always spotlessly clean and perfectly starched and ironed! A little unrealistic for a poor, struggling farmer, don't you think?

I suspect (and hope) that the sitting in the back of the bus thing may not have always been true everywhere..... Certainly, that "rule" existed in many unenlightened places, but maybe not in the Waltons Mtn area..... Verdi seemed to be pretty well accepted for those times. I have always enjoyed the Rosa Parks story (not sure enjoyed is the right word). Except that recently I learned that she was not just a "put-upon" little lady..... she was in fact quite an activist. That doesn't change the effect, thankfully, but somehow changes the "story."

Hey, I just watched a LH episode and the actress that played Livy on The Homecoming was in it and as usual, Pa Ingles CRIED...twice! But what we really want to know is if pa had his shirt off exposing his freshly shaved chest (cause gosh knows he had plenty of time to do THAT) Yeah, they were always showing off his chest. Same thing with William Shatner on the original Star Trek.

I don't know whether this would qualify as a blooper or a continuity error. But I noticed it yesterday when I watched The Runaway. JimBob said he was born June 1924. That would have made him 20 when he graduated in 1944. Did they give a different birth date for him in The Secret when he found out he had a twin I cannot remember for sure. Also, in the episode where Cindy finds out she was adopted, did they not give her year of birth as 1925? If that is true, then that would make her 1 year younger than Jim Bob. But I got the impression that she and Ben both were about 18 in Dec. of 1941 when we are first introduced to the character. I'm assuming it was meant to be the same character, although a different actress. I know these inconsistancies come from different writers for different episodes. But sometimes, it seems like they can't even do simple math.
