Mr. Forever and I are eating supper Friday night with weezer29 (Peggi), Kathy Lee and her hubby (I'm assuming he is coming along too) - Any more takers? If I don't hear from you (here on this thread), then I'll either find out at the meet and greet or call you about it if I have your phone number. You all know who you are.
This is gonna be fun! Have fun everyone.

Just finished packing. Warm clothes, warm socks, gloves, rain jacket, boots, something nice for Friday and Saturday night, maps, AAA Travel book, car washed, suitcases in car, things to get signed, water, snacks, husband, kitchen sink......anything else? Lewis and Clark packed less for their trip West!
Not trying to say that I think you have it easy...but I also have to make sure that on Thursday my five youngest foreverettes have their school homework done, pick my youngest daughter up from basketball practice & cook supper, school clothes for Friday, costumes & treat bags for trick-or-treating Friday night, play clothes for the weekend, church clothes, etc. I still have to write out instructions for our house/pet sitter. I am also packing for Mr. Forever and myself tomorrow. I just need to make sure I don't forget my GPS or my camera.
Well, I had to add a few things to my to do Thursday list that I didn't anticipate. My daughter's basketball practice was to be over at 4:30 p.m. She did not let me know that it would be over at 5:00 p.m. I made good use of that 30 minutes sitting in the parking lot though. I dumped the dirt and trash out of my car mats, cleaned the trash out of the van, cleaned out my console, door pockets, etc.
We brought my houseplants in last week. That left my four BIG cactus pots to bring in. They are calling for temperatures in the twenties at night this weekend, so we had to get them inside. Then Mr. Forever had to drop his truck off at the mechanic for some work. I had to follow him so he would have a ride home. It's 12:51 a.m. Friday morning now and I just finished a load of laundry and it's in the dryer. Still in the process of packing too. I've got to get in the shower in three hours and we are leaving out an hour later.
My six year old son grabbed onto me right before bedtime. He just started crying and telling me that he was going to miss me. Broke my heart , I grabbed him up and laid with him in my arms in the recliner consoling him as he cried. Finally got him to bed but he wouldn't quit crying, telling me that he didn't want me to go...so that made my 10 year old son start crying about us leaving. Eventually I got them both to fall asleep. Even though it hurts my heart, it is wonderful to know that they love us.

You can watch me eat supper and I'll watch you eat dinner. We can eat at the same time too. We'll call it "supner or dinper." LOL!

Got the laundry put up. Everything is packed finally. I have been up for a little over 25 hours now (I got up at 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning). I have put everything in the van except for the camera, GPS and a small drink cooler. Fixing to go get a shower before Mr. Forever wakes up in 30 minutes. My 10 year old son has been up and down tonight. He's having trouble sleeping because we are leaving. He is constantly having to come kiss and hug me and saying, "Yall have fun but I'm gonna miss you and daddy." Bless his heart but he needs to get some sleep, he's got school in 4 hours. He just got up again and he's worried about missing our phone calls when we call to check in with them. I'm going to tuck him in and this is it for me until I get to Lynchburg. Safe travels to everyone and to all of you who are not going - I sure wish you would have been able to. Tally Ho! It's off to Virginia I go.

I just finished vacuuming the first floor. My main suitcase is packed, but I have to pack cell phone charger, meds, toiletries and my crocheting. Then heading upstairs to take a shower. Honey is still sleeping. We unloaded 300 lbs of horse grain last night and got the garbage down. I've been where you are, Kimberly--up for 24 hours. Just couldn't do it this time. (must be getting old!) I hope you get some rest on the way down!

Awww...that would break my heart too. But it will do them good to learn that you leave...and you come back. And good for them to learn at a young age the grace of being happy for others.

I just wanted to wish everyone going to the reunion the best time ever! I hope you all have the greatest time, especially meeting some of the cast and each other I also want to wish all of you a safe travel there and back, and I can't wait to see pictures and hear all the great stories! Have fun everyone, and by this time next week, you all will be gathered together! I also want to wish everyone going a safe journey and a wonderful time at the Reunion.
