If Patriciaanne doesn't mind, I'll help remind her. With the two of us working together - you'll get a shirt. Just want you to know that they don't have a 'reunion' t-shirt. The Waltons Museum in Schuyler has t-shirts with the Waltons house on it, the moon and stars above it, with "Good night mama...'night daddy...good night John Boy" written under the house. Then below that in bigger letters: "Walton's Mountain Schuyler, Virginia."
Will that do in XL?
I have that shirt in purple with white letters. It is really nice. I think I will pack it for the reunion.
I have it in purple too and I'm bringing it with me.

Yeah... there ought to be reunion tee-shirts, coffee mugs, or something.... fairly easy to accomplish for maybe an additional $5-10 per person.... would be cheaper and much more meaningful than something from the museum.... well worth it and something to cherish. This is a nice thought, Jeri, and these items would sell. I am sure it would help with banquet expenses as well. Good idea ....but Carolyn would need help doing it.

Selling t-shirts, mugs, etc. Is a lot of work to set up so someone would have to volunteer to do this. A design would have to be developed and it helps to have a printer that lives nearby. I think having people order ahead of time would also be helpful... But of course having extra to sell at the reunion too!

I wasn't thinking of selling them, more like a special take-home gift for attendees -- could be figured right in to the reunion "admittance fee"..... but, selling them could bring some money in for the fan club....
These days, it is extremely easy to have a bunch of tee shirts made up -- there are websites all over the place who can get it done in just a few days.... would not take much time/work at all, and you can make it happen for less than $5 for a mug or $10 each for a tee, if you're ordering at least 100.... FYI, it takes longer for mugs than tee-shirts....

Still. Carolyn has enough on her plate with planning the reunion so someone would have to volunteer. There are a few t-shirt places near me. There are people who don't attend the reunion that would probably want shirts as well. I can see the reunion attendees getting a t-shirt and having a few extra for those not attending

Hope everyone has a good time at the reunion, wish I could be there but unfortunately my health hasn't allowed me to attend one yet. Be safe. David

I doubt that you'd need "permission" to use a copy of the house, for instance.... and it would only take about two hours of time to make it happen, at most.

Want to add my good wishes for all those attending the reunion - have a wonderful time! I'm so sad I couldn't go this year but hope there will be another one in the future so I can attend.
We'll be here waiting to see the photos and hear all about it. Safe travels to you all.

Just finished packing. Warm clothes, warm socks, gloves, rain jacket, boots, something nice for Friday and Saturday night, maps, AAA Travel book, car washed, suitcases in car, things to get signed, water, snacks, husband, kitchen sink......anything else?
Lewis and Clark packed less for their trip West!

Lewis and Clark packed less for their trip West! I should have asked this sooner but...you guys aren't getting super dressed up Fri. and Sat. nights are you? I'm going to be pretty casual on Friday (jeans) and probably tights and boots and a nice top for Sat. night.
I am envious that you're packed already! It's 9 p.m. here and I'm just about to eat a quick dinner, then finish cleaning the first floor of the house and then heading upstairs to pack and see what last minute laundry I need to do. Just finished writing out instructions for the pet sitter.

Lewis and Clark packed less for their trip West! For Jeri. There was a TV show called "Lois and Clark" in the 1990s...i.e Lois Lane and Clark Kent. That's the pop culture reference here.
