I last watched The Star, from Season One. :-)
And in true shambolic fashion I neglected to check the freeview options for where I was staying on holiday last week and ended up without a Waltons episode all week. AAARRGGHH!!!
* I won't even mention the SD card formatting itself in my camera and wiping over 146 photos *
It's nice to be home, though..

Aww mercantile, that stinks!
My last episode watched was "The Caretakers". Good, but not one of my faves because I abhor dissention in the family. Though it was funny when the baseball game disintegrated and the kids stomped off one by one.

I watched the episode where Cora Beth walked out on Mr.Godsey because she thought adultry was envolved. He had that letter hidden in The hidden drawer below his jewelry box. Ike kept that letter from Pamela and how she said she didn't want to come between Ike and Corabeth. So in a sense it was like Ike Was up to something , but yet no he wasn't. Personally I feel Ike Should have burned that letter and not held onto it. It was as if he was trying to hold onto something Pamela had written to him. A Lost Love of sort's. Adultry is an Evil Thing and it destroy's Marriages. I lost my 32 year marriage to a cheater & another woman.

i last watched a walton special - Thanksgiving - in this one, John Boy brings home Janet , to meet the family. Elizabeth made a surprise visit and JFK was assinated. No sign/mention of Charlie or John Curtis. Maybe he was with Curt.I found i didn't like the character of Mary Ellen, as much, in that special. She was very pushy of her other son Clay and to me not as likeable (character-wise) it was Jim -Bob that made her realise she was really worried about becoming a war widow again.

Looking forward to watching The Dust Bowl Cousins in around twenty minutes. A fine ep for me to follow The Literary Man which, as luck would have it, was on last night.
Splendid.

I thought Ike was more likely wanting to hang onto Pamela's thoughts about his relationshio with CoraBest.....

Last night I watched "The Boondoggle". It's not talked about much but it's a really good episode. My heart ached for poor Miss Mamie.
I believe that this episode is the one in which Richard looks the very best. It's those slacks...!

I am watching "The Breakdown" 1975, and I chuckled when Grandma got excited that Jason dedicated a song for her, on the radio. Her reaction was too cute!

I last watched The Minstrel, from Season One.
A strong episode in my opinion, the family doing what they know best, and reaping the reward at the end. Just don't mention the singing... :-o
