Does anyone know if Earl's sister Nancy is the last remaining Hamner sibling who is alive?

Three Hamner siblings are still living: sisters Audrey and Nancy, and brother Paul Hamner.

Maybe this has been discussed elsewhere but the generations must have been spaced out quite a bit for Rome to have settled Walton's Mountain in 1789 and his grandson Zebulon did not come along until 1862.
Assuming Rome was at least 20 when he came to settle in 1789, he would have been born about 1769. Married at 27 to Rebecca. Maybe Rebecca was much younger than him, say 18. She would have been having children every 2 years, say 5 children total that lived. So having babies for at least the next 12 years which brings us to 1808. Let's stretch that to 1810 and say that is when Zeb's father Samuel was born. So Samuel would have been 52 when he had his youngest son Zebulon. I guess it is possible. It just feels like there is a generation missing in there, but I have run into a few cases doing local historical research on families in rural areas where bachelor farmers get married late in life for a number of reasons, so this must have been the case with the Walton clan. Interesting history.

Interesting history. Well, it's my personal theory that Zeb was the youngest child in his family. Because his brother Henry was already married to Martha Corinne at the start of the Civil War and Zeb was born during the Civil War.

And Zeb decided to join the Rough Riders at 36 years old with two young boys at home?

And Zeb decided to join the Rough Riders at 36 years old with two young boys at home? Something I just noticed tonight in "The Empty Nest", Zeb's gravestone says he was born in 1865.

On the tombstone of Rebecca Lee Walton in The Heritage episode (S2Ep17), it appears her birth and death are 1825 - 1895. She would have lived 70yrs. But these dates are not consistent with the information of Rome Walton arriving on the mountain in 1789. We don't know how old he was but lets say he was 17 to 20yrs upon arrival.. Due to difficulty in discerning precisely Rebecca's birthdate from the video image, if it actually reads born in 1805, she would not have married at least until 1820, but Rome would be much older than her and be about 50 in 1820. If Samuel was born shortly after, he would have been old enough to marry Zula and have his first child Henry (b.1841). I don't believe Rome waited 30 years after arrival on the mountain to marry. So we have come to another conundrum in the chronology of the family. Upon re-inspection, it looks like Rebecca Lee was born in 1845 but that makes the time line, even worse.

In The Gift (S2/E18) we learn from Zeb that his granddaddy Rome played a fipple-flute made out of seasoned apple wood he enjoyed playing along with his fiddle. Synonym of fipple-flute is a recorder. Seth Turner carves a recorder out of apple wood from an old McIntosh tree that grew up in the high meadow, which he gives to Jason.

Which is the accepted date of John's graduation from school, his marriage to Olivia and the birth of John-Boy? One episode has him graduating in 1911, then another in 1917 which is shortly before he went into the army.
The family history at the beginning of this thread seems to indicate that Esther had already had John when Zeb went off to Cuba, but then there's that episode where it is said that Esther was pregnant with John at the time.

I think that trying to figure out the Walton family history according to The Homecoming and the entire series would be like trying to build a jigsaw with pieces from dozens and dozens of puzzles since continuity was rarely evident throughout.

I go through life frequently feeling my own inner " jigsaw puzzle is missing a few pieces and has a few pieces from other puzzles 😀☹🤔

A good starting point to help sort through this information is the William Atkins website (his link you can find at the bottom of our Forum pages). On his Walton Family page, you can find extensive entries for each of the main characters, including Esther, John Sr & John-boy.

What happened to John's brother Ben?
Was the house they all lived in the one Zeb built, or was that one John built later?
