I was responsible for uploading that. I took the date from the Bright House onscreen cableguide. Glad you caught it.

I note that the bumper slides for the show read "Happy Birthday, Gemini." If that's from the original air date, it would indeed suggest that ForeverWaltons' dating (late May rather than late June) is correct.
(Now that, that may have been updated for the rebroadcast package to reflect the current 2016 date and month, but that would require updating for every rebroadcast, so it would be curious.)

Last night I caught a 1990 Gunsmoke movie, "The Last Apache" With James Arness and Michael Learned. In the movie Matt Dillon and Mike Yardner (Michael Learned) have a daughter together. Interestingly enough this goes back to a Gunsmoke TV story "Matt's Love Story (1973) " where Matt is shot and abandoned. Matt's horse finds his way to the farm of young widow named Mike Yardner (Michael Learned), who, with the help of her dog, finds Matt and brings him to her farm. Matt is recovering, but he does not remember his past. Love is in the air.

This Friday, June 17, at 7:00 pm (central US time zone) on the INSP network, is the Bonanza episode featuring Richard Tnomas. For some reason he's wearing a hideous wig. However, please try to ignore this as he gives a wonderful performance.

I saw back to back movies with Ellen Corby. One playing Humphrey Bogart's secretary/assistant, Miss McCardle, in the movie "Sabrina" (1954) starring Audrey Hepburn and William Holden. I also saw her in a movie called "Goodbye, My Fancy" (1951) starring Joan Crawford and Robert Young as Miss Birdshaw. Although she played single working women in both films, she still looked older than her age.

I was just watching (on DVD) the Alfred Hitchcock film Vertigo (1958). Ellen has one scene as a hotel desk clerk. And yes, she already looks old.

The Exorcist III (1990) was recently released on Blu-Ray Disc, along with a special "director's cut" restoration. Waltons fans will note that Mary Jackson ("Emily Baldwin") has a minor (but very effective role) as an elderly hospital patient used by The Demon for evil purposes.
This is the good sequel to the notorious 1973 classic horror film. It's quite effective (and scary) with some fine performances. The director's cut isn't much of an improvement, in my opinion.

Watching Beulah Bondi in a 1937 movie called "Make Way for Tomorrow" on Turner Classic Movies. It has a 93% rating. She portrays an elderly woman, who along with her husband, are at the mercy of their children, who consider them a burden.
