^ It was the scene with the 'run' on the bank and George (Jimmy Stewart) was giving away his honeymoon money to his clients. Ellen was the lady who asked for $17.50 and Jimmy bent over and kissed her. As Ellen explained:

"During the run on the Bailey Building and Loan I requested seventeen dollars. There were many rehearsals and many takes . . . and then Mr. Capra came up to me and whispered in my ear. On the next take I asked for an odd amount . . . not seventeen dollars, but seventeen-fifty. That threw Jimmy Stewart off. He was expecting me to say the amount I had requested in the rehearsals and takes we’d already tried.

"But Stewart was wonderful. He ad-libbed his reaction and kiss. That was pure Capra. He knew how to keep things fresh."

I was on Facebook,and there was a Duke of Hazzard reunion,they were talking about the show,and Peggy Rea was on it,she said she liked being on The Dukes of Hazzard more than being on The Waltons, she said being on The Dukes of Hazzard was a hoot.For those of you who don't know
she played Boss Hogg wife and I believe she was Sheriff Coltrane sister.

I just saw Peggy on an episode of Hazel.  I was channel surfing and saw her.  Don't know what the episode was about.

I recently watched two Christmas movies with Waltons cast members. "Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus" with Richard Thomas and also "A Christmas without Snow"  with Michael Learned. Both are  available on YouTube.

I saw Mary Jackson (Miss Emily Baldwin) in a 1982 episode of Quincy M.E. this morning.

I only saw the end of the episode so not sure what the whole story was about, but Mary Jackson's character was in the hospital and a nurse was trying to convince her to have a surgery.  I thought that was funny because on The Waltons, Miss Mamie had to be convinced to have eye surgery.

I just saw Cleavon Little on an episode of All in the Family. Cleavon Little was the actor who played Hawthorne Dooley in The Homecoming. He also appeared in the Season 4 episode The Fighter.

Cleavon Little had a recurring role on Macgyver and he was suppose to be in a spinoff but died before it ever got off the ground.

I saw the original Romy Cotter on an episode of The Partridge Family,Keith liked her,but she didn't like him.As I was flipping through the channels I saw a young Jon Wamsley,I believe it was some western.

I would absolutely love to meet any of the cast of The Walton's and especially Kami Cotler. I would also love to have Kami as one of my teachers. Does anyone know if she is still teaching? I just know she would be such an awesome teacher to have.

I saw Peggy Rea in the sit-com Step By Step.

I saw Mary Jackson (Miss Emily) playing a nun who was the headmistress of a private girl's school in the supernatural thriller Audrey Rose.

I can't recall the title, Mary McDonough and Melissa Sue Anderson from Little House played 2 teen girls that got involved in witchcraft. Oh and speaking of appearing with Little House actors, Mary McDonough appeared with Dean Butler on Love Boat. They played a couple on their honeymoon.
