Will have to send for a few autographs. I don't have any! I just started a website. The plan is to watch every episode and post recipes for things they eat in that show. Right now I have The Homecoming finished and I am working on season one. Just a fun hobby as I like to cook and bake. The address is: www.supperatthewaltons.comThanks for the autograph info! What a great idea, Kathy Lee! I will take a look at your site.

Glad you like it! On the Recipe Index page. I just added some cute pictures of my granddaughter in the Shenandoah Mountains. She loves it there! So beautiful and almost magical. You can hike for hours and sometime never meet another person. But you do feel the spirits of long-gone people! The views are amazing and the sunsets heavenly!

I'll have to put it on my list of things to do one of these days when I get new knees.

Hiking there can be tough as most hikes start on Skyline Drive which follows the top of the mountain ridges. Most hikes are easy going down and tough back up! But, a lot of people don't hike at all and just go for the lovely drive and stop at the overlooks for the view. Skyland Resort is where we usually stay. The Limberlost Trail is by Skyland and it is level and smooth with fine gravel. Good for strollers or wheelchairs. We go because it is an easy walk and is so pretty. Big Meadows has nice camping if anyone likes to camp. We love Big Meadows at sunset. Last time we were there, a mist came up and the bucks were walking in the mist. The meadow is full of wild blueberries in the summer which the deer love. You can get pretty close to them as they are not afraid of humans that much. One night we were there and a group of fawns were running and playing around my granddaughter. They were so close we could hear the little mewing sounds they were making! My granddaughter was enchanted! In the episode, The Boy From the CCC, the boy Geno says he is from Big Meadows as that is where the CCC camps were.

I felt like I was there. How lucky your granddaughter is to be surrounded by such beauty at such a young age.

Received a very nice reply from actor Morgan Woodward today!! He’d actually been on my ‘to write’ list since fall of 2012, but I had never seen any replies from him. He was also scheduled to appear at a couple of the past Waltons cast reunions in California and Virginia, but for one reason or another was never able to make it to the ones I attended. I sent to an address that a friend of mine sent me, and was surprised to see my SASE back 12 days later with all four of my photos signed! Including my custom made Walton ones, which I’ve had since 2012. Haha. The one of him and Will Geer is a new favorite of mine that I just recently found before sending off to him. Thank you Morgan!! 4x6 photos: 4x6 custom photos: Sent: March 15th 2014 Replied: March 27th 2014 Days Taken: 12 Address used: Morgan Woodward 2111 Rockledge Rd. Los Angeles, CA 90068 USA RYAN-J

Woo Hoo! Just received my mail and my SASE from Mr. Woodward was in it. I had the bottom two photos like Ryan's above - Mr. Woodward behind jail bars (Boone Walton) and Martha Corrine, Grandpa & Boone (Mr. Woodward). I carried them with me to the reunions in California September 2012 as Mr. Woodward was scheduled to appear but for some reason he did not show.
So I mailed them off on April 1st after Ryan posted this and I got them back today - autographed. Thanks for the address Ryan.

I came home Saturday night to find a very nice reply from author, producer and creator of ‘The Waltons, the real-life John Boy himself………Earl Hamner! I got the extreme pleasure of meeting Mr. Hamner in September of 2012 at the Waltons cast reunion in Burbank, CA and he was one of the kindest and down to earth person I’ve met! He took time to greet everyone who came and took photos and signed autographs left and right. He also tagged along with us when we toured the Waltons set on the backlots of Warner Bros. studios and he even introduced a video clip of mine that I filmed of him by the Walton church/schoolhouse. Earl graciously personalized both my 4x6 photo op that I got with him during the reunion banquet, and also my photo of earl introducing my video clip taken at Warner Bros. studios!! Thank you so much Earl!! 4x6 Photos: Sent: March 21st 2014 Replied: June 28th 2014 Days Taken: 100 Address Used: Mr. Earl Hamner 11350 Ventura Blvd. Suite 205 Studio City, CA 91604 USA RYAN-J

So happy for you, Ryan! That is a thrill!! I would love to meet Earl Hamner. I feel lucky that I was able to include a message in his birthday book last year, though. He is such a treasure. I'm sure that autograph will be very dear to you.

Last week I received a reply from Linda Purl, who was appearing in a play in Southern California. She appeared in two Waltons episodes as two different characters.
