deb , that is so great! I didn't know about your Siena *my Sienna has 2 "n"s. I only have the twin grands (Sienna Violet & Martin Landon) ...How many do you have? I will read about your Dad today. My Dad passed in 1990; I miss him so much, even today so many years later. johnny , I had no idea what the name of those flowers were!!! Now I do, thank you so much. They were given to me by my BFF. She gave them to me when we first moved here together with those gorgeous white bleeding hearts. She may have told me the name but I forgot. She also gave me tons of hostas, columbine, daffodils, blue indigos, monarda, milkweed, on and on. It helps her garden as she divides her perennial beds and it sure helps me. Are you a gardener?

Hi Teri! Yes, our Siena is the oldest and it's one "n." Twins are so very special! What beautiful names they have! We thought we might get some as we have identical twins in our family (but we also thought we'd get red heads, as we have several red heads, but nope!). I don't think we ever stop missing our parents I'm sorry your dad passed so young It hurts extra bad. Thank you for sending the violets flower pic over! They are simply beautiful like a painting! God Bless and have a great week! deb < deb , that is so great! I didn't know about your Siena *my Sienna has 2 "n"s. Hello,
I wanted to hop on and let you all know that I had a wonderful time with Judy Norton this morning and the interview went well (I think!). It should air next week sometime! yikes! Also, during the interview, at the beginning, Judy showed me a letter from Teri, to her, that you wrote on my behalf! I can't thank you enough and I can't thank all of you that have been so kind and supportive. I am blessed for new found friends and now I can count Judy as one. She's just amazing.
God Bless and enjoy your week! deb ox

Hi Patriciaanne!
It was so much fun and I don't think we talked about the Christmas episode but I do have good memories from it - there's always so much to talk about in 13 or so min!! Judy is very warm and kind. We spent time afterward chatting away. It was such a great blessing and opportunity!!
Thank you again for the support! Hope you're having a good day! It is finally warming up here in Southern California and I hear it will be in the 90's by week's end. Not looking forward to that, nor is the garden!!! Time to shore up the shades!!

She has a knack for it, for sure. Good luck with the heat. We are having big storms here. I'm happy for the rain, but I'd be happier to skip the lightning and thunder theatrics. My veggies and flowers are happy, though, and I don't have to water the garden. 😉

Good morning, Deb, and what a wonderful post to find on this early morning here in the Catskills Looking forward to your interview with Judy next week. In my card to her I thanked her that she has continued to be that "big sister" to us in facilitating these amazing get togethers with our favorite people and hear what their experience was on The Waltons. I have never been in a fan club in my life, so I don't have a reference, but I don't think this happens often where the fans and the actors have such a camaraderie as this. Must be somethin' in the water! hahaha Gardening sure is not for the weak of heart! Right before the rains came and melted all the peonies, we got some beauties. Here is a bouquet to you for your outstanding interview! So glad we have connected!!! xox teri Attachments:

Ya, for sure. I kept saying, "We will not lose power, we will not lose power!"
I tiptoe around my deck to see my waterlogged plants. But the rain made the air so sweet, didn't it?

I love peonies too, where we used to live we had peonies bushes, one had white flowers, the other had pink flowers, I think that the pink is prettier and the white smells good,I wish we could have taking them with us.

Hello Hello Teri! and Patriciaanne! Well the weather in So California flipped like a sudden lightswitch to the high 90's! yikes! I've been watching the sweetest little ball of fluff for the neighbors, a Sheltie named Lily, and we moved her over to our house so she could be cool. She's got a whole setup, dog house, etc. outside and we couldn't let her be in this heat. Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous Teri! I can't believe that today Judy put up a "pre-episode" on her YouTube about Spring Fever! It's always so surreal to see clips. Also, I'm uncertain if I mentioned it to you Teri, but she holds up your letter to her at the beginning of our interview, which I think will be this Thursday??!!! and I fumbled my way through our commonly named grandchildren! and how sweet and encouraging you and so many people have been to me! Pray you're both doing well and keeping cool. I can't imagine the heat, humidity, thunder and lightening (oh my!) - so I try not to complain about our dry heat here! We officially tarped the gutter garden with these nursery tarps we purchased as an investment to keep it from the torture of the sun/heat! When we first built it and I planted it all, we went to see my mom and came home to everything gone We had rigged drippers and our house sitter figured they were working (and didn't look too close. ugh!). Such an investment of time and energy - but I slowly put it back together, and hence the tarps!! Always blessed just to have this space and to be able to garden. It's such a gift. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY TO EVERYONE! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!love, deb ox One of my favorites from my old garden "Cooling off!" From Teri: Good morning, Deb, and what a wonderful post to find on this early morning here in the Catskills Looking forward to your interview with Judy next week. Hi Deb, I can't imagine how surreal that must feel for you, watching your younger self acting on The Waltons. If you read some of the comments below the preview video, folks thought you were quite the looker (and you were! Still are) We will be watching this next episode with lots of excitement and joy! The fact that Judy actually refers to me on the video speaks to how down to earth she is and that she really cares. Most Hollywood celebrities are sheltered from their fans; The Waltons actors are the exact opposite. It confirms to me that their lives, too, were affected by this precious tv show they were so blessed to be a part of. On another note, isn't it amazing what we do just to keep our gardens alive! I do hope your plants thrive after all your hard work. We are in the hazy, hot and humid days of July here. Enjoy that little doggie! PS Another stunner of a photo xox Have a very blessed, Independence Day!!!
