Not a Brady Bunch follower -- but I remember hearing rumors just recently of a certain "involvement" back then between Carol and Greg ??!! .... was there anything to that ? As I understand it, he had a major crush on her. He asked her out on a "date," which was nothing more than dinner. She probably thought it was cute and wasn't thinking of it as a "date." I think she was married during the series, wasn't she? I don't think there was anything inappropriate. I saw an interview once with Florence Henderson and she speculated, in a very nice way, that she thinks Barry was trying to "sell his book." If I had to choose between Flo and Barry, the Wesson lady wins.

I grew up in the 70's and watched the Brady Bunch every afternoon after school...I never fancied Greg though, not at all. Peter was cute though A lot of the children who appeared in those family shows of the 70's and 80's went off the rails in some form after their cuteness wore off and their careers either stalled or they got caught up in the darker aspects of that era and fell victim to drugs and crime. The little girl from Family Affair, Anissa Jones, springs to mind straight away - her story had a very sad ending which I'm sure we are all familiar with. Leif Garrett, Danny Bonaduce (who I cannot stand), Tatum O'Neill...there did not seem to be a lot of emotional and moral support for these kids in handling the pitfalls of fame. The Walton's kids seemed to escape all of that though. I know that Mary Beth had her issues which seemed to be more related to self-esteem rather than external/peer influences but on the whole they came out of their youth with their heads on their shoulders the right way round. I often wonder how John Boy would have turned out had the family not lived in a rural, conservative community and instead in a big city. I have a feeling Ben would have given his parents some unwanted grey hairs...

I can get the youtube of Maureen on the Howard Stern show where she talks about the Coke. She also talks about Dating Steve Martin.... I remember listening to this on Sirius Radio. I have her book as well.
