Well, what about Mary Ellen? She rode out to the hollers to care for sick people. She also had to endure that crazy storyline where her husband was still alive. I would say Mary Ellen was maybe the most caring person and that's why she was a good nurse. She did have some trouble showing emotion or letting it out at least especially when Curt diesd at Pearl Harbor in Day of Infamy she didn't cry outwardly much. She was tough/stable and could handle a lot of things emotionally. But she also had that breakdown and could let loose with that carefree spirit of heres from time to time. Mary Ellen was definitely a pretty diverse person.

Why has no one said Olivia she was really nice she was always caring and in the episode where the German people come to Waltons Mountain she invited them to dinner. Also she was always so kind and gentle with everyone. I have others like John because whenever someone was round he was always polite and Grandpa because he was always down to earth and easy to approach.

I'd say Jason, John-Boy or Elizabeth.

Everyone knows how I adore John-Boy, and yeah, he was pretty nice. He could be bratty and explode sometimes but that's part of his charm.
IMO the nicest adult is John. He's quietly strong, and gentle to those in need. He's not judgmental at ALL. And the nicest kid is Jason - you hardly ever see him get angry, and he's so compassionate and caring. I love the dynamic he has with the Baldwin ladies and wish we'd have gotten to see more of it.
