Now, all of the Waltons are lovely people, but which do you think is nicest? My choice would be John, with John-Boy being a close second. John has that quiet charm about him, and it's clear that he has a great love for his family. When strangers come and stay the family, especially young men who he realises could be his own sons under different circumstances. he goes out of his way to offer his advice when they need it. Even those he does not agree with, or those he is working against (e.g. the rival wood company), he always shows great respect to all people. And that's why I think John is nicest ;D who would you nominate? It doesn't need to be a member of the family either.

Scarlett always says JimBob..lol..I really think Ben is the obvious choice. He is the only kid who supported that family with the mill. The rest of them took off.

This is a tricky one as they are all nice in their own way.....but I'm going to pick Grandpa as he always seemed to find the best in everyone

Of course I said Jim Bob. Did you ever see Ben save a duck? or buy a gift for a little deaf girl? or risk a whipping to save a calf, or... I'll stop now cause it is obvious how nice Jim Bob is.

I'm going another way and say Elizabeth. She was always the most fun and adventuresome kid out of all of them. She was also smart and became a beautiful young lady and person growing up. I dont think she was all about herself either and looked out for others which was pretty much the Walton way anyway. Good topic AR15/ Wm Fan Sportwriter

Since AR15 said that they didn't have to be a member of the family.....I choose Verdie! She was always so friendly & willing to help out in any way possible!
In the "family" I have to pick two, Grandpa & Jason. Grandpa for his wisdom, always trying to help people see the big picture instead of just living in the moment. I loved the way he tried to do it in a round about way instead of always just coming right out & saying it. He tried to teach life lessons.
Jason was always so kind hearted & sensitive.
