There's so many that I can't think of any in particular except for the spiking of the lemonade at Ike's.. Grandpa was such a hoot. I MISS HIM!

Grandpa was a hoot for sure. Don't remember the episode but Granpa was always doing this anyway. Grandma and Grandpa were setting on the front porch with John and Olivia. Grandma got up to go inside and Granpa either smacked her or pinched her on the rear end. Grandma shouted, stop that, and drew her arm back like she was going to hit him. John and Olivia were holding back from laughing.

Oh, and on the subject of Grandpa, what's the episode when he's watching a strip tease with Ben or Jason, the woman's dancing wearing only balloons and then he stands up with a pin and starts bursting them! I think it's either from Season 5 or 6...

Tonight I watched the episode when Jason got a job at a burlesque house. Grandpa had Jim Bob and Ben take him there. The stripper had balloons which Grandpa delightfully popped with the flower pin in his lapel.

I always loved Grandma's dry humor. One scene I always get a lough from is in The Quilting when grandpa asked if the Baldwin sisters were going to bring the recipe. Grandma says they'd have a "crazy quilt".

Funny thing is, when Grandma was teaching, I think Erin, how to make a sponge cake, she revealed the secret ingredient as being a bit of the Recipe.

I know this is funny moments an scenes but I just had to say that it is Ellen Corbys brilliance to play her character with a little vinegar (her words) that allows for alot of grandpas funny moments. Kind of a no nonsense straight man or woman. David

In a couple of the earlier episodes, the Baldwin ladies are seen discussing somebody they don't like too much. One of them says, "Probably a Yankee," to enthusiastic nods of agreement from the other, and no further discussion is deemed necessary!
There's also a good line from Ben in the episode "The Home Front" when he is explaining about feuding to Cindy. He says something like, "The last feud round here went on so long nobody knew what started it."
Also when Jim-Bob comes home from the war, he gets a lift from a mad farmer guy in a cart (the farmer is going nowhere in particular, and is accompanied by a jug of liqor, which is in fact plain water). "You're nuts," says Jim-Bob. "Ain't that a fact!" replies the farmer.

Another funny scene I watched last night from season 6. John was finally out of debt and had a celebration. When Corabeth saw the new minister pull up with Marsha Woolery, exposing her belly, Corabeth fainted. Corabeth reminds me so much of Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) from Keeping Up Appearances.

That's one of my favorite scenes also. I agree that Corabeth and Hyacinth have a lot of similarities. Harriet Oleson on "Little House" was much the same way.

I can just hear Corebeth saying, "If my Amie were here she'd be appalled!"
