I watched it the other night...second time ever and I had watched it so many years ago that I had forgotten most of it. I was so surprised to see Grandpa Zeb as the prosecuting attorney in the trials of Richard Hickock and Perry Smith in the 1959 murders of four members of the Herbert Clutter family in the small farming community of Holcomb, Kansas. He pretty much acted the same way as he did in the Waltons. Here he is!

Indeed. Especially his hands and fingers. Watch the beginning minute or so and watch his hands.

Also saw him on a Gunsmoke episode and he was a mean drunk. In the bar he beat the heck out of someone.
