Here is a little more information on the Valentine's Weekend with the Davids being held at John & Olivia's Bed & Breakfast in Schuyler, Virginia (Earl Hamner's home town) and hosted by the "Forever Friends of the Waltons" fan club on Saturday, February 15:
Photo Op & Autograph Session / 1:00 to 3:00 PM: Have your photo taken inside the B&B with David Harper (Jim Bob Walton) and David Doremus (G.W. Haines), and then have it autographed. The B&B was built and dedicated last year, and closely resembles the Walton home from the TV show. It is located next door to the historical Hamner home (Earl's childhood home) and across the street from the Walton's Mountain Museum. Cost is $30 for one 8x10 photo of yourself with David & David, as well as their autographs. If you're unable to attend, but would like to purchase the autographed photo of just the two Davids, you can call 980-WALTONS (980-925-8667) with your credit card info and they will mail the photo to you.
Walton Memorabilia Auction / Time yet to be announced: Carolyn Grinnell (former president of the Waltons International Fan Club) will be auctioning off several items of Waltons memorabilia from her own personal collection at John & Olivia's B&B.
Walton's Mountain Museum: Although normally closed for the season, the museum plans to be open on Saturday, February 15 for those wishing to visit the museum.
Spaghetti Dinner: The museum will be holding a spaghetti dinner on Saturday evening to raise funds for an Easter Egg Hunt in the spring. Cost is $10 per person.
