This has really been a crazy year for me. Not just wanting sympathy but I found out yesterday morning at about 5:30 that my first wife's neice had died of some kind of infection. My first wife and I pretty much helped raise this kid and she was just like a daughter to me She was only 28 years old and has a Son that is 11 years old. Any comfort will be appriciated.

Add mine, There is nothing you can say to an 11 year old that will make him feel any better, unfortunately only time can do that. Just be there for him with your support that will help - honest.

I am praying for you all, as well.
What a tragic loss. May the Lord be near you and comfort you now.
