A lot of you people might think this is silly but today we had to put my loyal companion and best friend down. Her name was Chowder. A Chow mix that I have had since she was a pup. I called her "best ole pup in the world". Had she lived till the first of the year she would have been 18 years old. She will be missed very much.

David, I am so very, very sorry. I have been there a few times myself, I know how your heart must be hurting. Now, we have 3 cats aged 3 to 18 and also a 8 year old shephard/chow mix, his name is Jackson.
Sending Love and Prayers, Rhonda

Thanks Rhonda. We still have two cats. One is about six years old and a starved kitten that our neighbor kids found and brought over and we just could'nt say no.

Our own Best Friend is our first dog, Sunny is just 2 and a half, so I cant say i know how you feel at this time. What I will say is how terribly we would miss Sunny so I guess you feel the same. They become part of you. My sympathies are with you.

Oh David, I'm so sorry to how about Chowder. I know how hard it is having to have a loyal friend like that put down, we've had over 50+ animals in my 20 years growing up (mainly dogs and cats) and I've experianced death so many times. It never get's any easier either. RYAN J.

Thanks to all of you for your condolences. It really makes me feel better. I went today and saw her before she was buried in a pet cemetary. So sad but I am OK.
