I know there has to be ads to cover costs around here, I know that!! I will say that I find the ad with Carrot Top rather offensive. Does anyone here have any control over what ads are used?

Per Brenda since Aug 2008 when we had another fan complained about the ads above but it was totally different. I just ignored the ads. Right now I have National Geographic Ads. Looks like Carrot Top disappeared. Tracey Re: Advertisement « Reply #1 on Aug 22, 2008, 4:04pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have no control over the ads here. Apparently that same ad was on another message board that I visit frequently, a message board for Baptists! Several people complained about it, as you can imagine. I don't see the ads because I use a firefox browser with an adblock plugin. It blocks nearly all ads on the internet. Firefox is free at www.mozilla.org/. In my opinion, it is superior to Internet Explorer in many ways. After you've downloaded it, you can add the adblock plugin, and many other plugins as well. Hope this helps. Brenda

Thanks for the advice you guys, I will download firefox as Brenda has suggested. I don't mind most of the other ads I have seen on here, so far just the Carrot Top one.

FireFox is superior to IE, Safari, etc... It's much faster!
