Thank you for sharing....love the one where they are by the tree. Remember when they said goodbye to Grandpa....that could have been a scene saying goodbye to John. Love that a dogwood tree was planted for Earl...one of my favorite trees for one of my favorite persons

Thank you for sharing your photos with us, Brenda ! It was so good seeing you happy. Wish I could have been with you all this weekend. I would like to visit the tree and the bench in memory of Earl Hamner when I come to Schuyler next time ( maybe October ). Where can I find it ? Is it close to the museum ? Thank you !

I missed you Dagmar. The bench and tree are easy to find. They are right beside the museum. Audrey Hamner was the first person who got to sit on the bench. I didn't get a picture because there were too many people in front of me who were taller than me. I've seen some on Facebook though. I hope you come in October.

Oh, good to know it is so close to the museum. And I am looking forward to see the real pony cart ! Yes, we really plan to come to the reunion in October. It is about time to come back to Virginia . Brenda, I know the problem with taller people in front of me too .
