:)I currently have the first three seasons of The Waltons on dvd and I have decided which episodes are my favorites. Maybe some of you out there would like to comment also. I think my alltime favorite from the first season would have to be The Love Story, where John Boy met and fell in love with Jenny Pendleton. Siann Barbara Allen was a very pretty girl back then, and I'm guessing she still is today! does anybody know what ever happened to her? I think it was really cute the way those two played at being Rome and Rebecca Lee Walton and ended up sharing their first kiss. It was all so very sweet and innocent. The dulcimer playing was really good too. The music and the song that was sung added just that bit of poignancy to the story. From the second season, my favorite would have to be "The Legacy" where John Walton is thinking about selling his land to a developer who wants to build a resort around the hot springs. John and Zeb, his daddy, have a few good talks about what he should do. Especially while they are up in the family graveyard. The subplot deals with Grandma and Grandpa walton celebrating their 50th anniversary, and I think the writers inerwove the two plots very nicely indeed! Will Geer must have practiced an awfully long time to be able to have kicked up his heels the way he did at the end of the episode, and I really liked Grandmas dress too! If any of you have a favorite that you would like to add, please feel free to do so.

There are so many good episodes that it is difficult to have one or two favorites. The Carousel was the one episode that partially took place in DC during the time I was living there and The Revelation had several scenes which took place in Lynchburg---a town where I now have a good friend. So different episodes are favorites for different reasons.
