There is an old, old thread on this somewhere, but maybe a new thread will be more interesting. I was looking for the year of John's truck, I think it's cool. I found a page that lists all of the automobiles in the entire series. www.imcdb.org/movie.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&id=68149I'm pretty sure John's truck is a '29 Ford Model AA, (heavy duty truck.) I just love Evira Drummond's car in The Actress, it's a 28 Cadillac. That car takes my breath away. Curt and Mary Ellen's blue, what, refurbished ambulance was ugly on wheels. Yuck! I really love the cars of the late 20s/early 30s. They were so stylish, if primitive.

I always wondered what John's "wooden" car was, it's a 1940 Plymouth De Luxe wagon.
Still can't find Curt's car, but I'll keep looking.

Curt's van was a 1933 Ford model B Panel Delivery. It was the same truck used in the wing walker and The Battle of Drucilla's pond
John's Truck was a 1928 or 29 ford model AA Express bed pickup.

Just watched the episode where John Boy gets the car after working for the cranky man who lost his son. So cute when everyone keeps knocking on his bedroom door...even Grandma, to ask for something!

Jim Bob became a man. Patsy Brimmer was appreciative of this. In the race I think think there were a couple of Harleys and if I'm not mistaken, possibly an Indian. I was also impressed with the variety of garb the riders were dressed in.

I cant add anything constructive to this thread but am pleased with the title 'cause Kay always says automobile and never car. He does say truck though.

They weren't primitive at all! I think that's a Dusenberry in "The Legend" episode I am watching right now, or similar to it.. but I haven't looked it up to confirm.
