Toward the end of last summer a family moved to Dallas from northern Indiana. I had initially assumed that they had always lived there but I found out that I was wrong. They had grown up in the San Fernando Valley and one of them went to Our Lady of Lourdes Elemantary School in Northridge! This is the same school which Mary Elizabeth Mc Donough attended! In fact she once went to one of Mary's birthday parties!

Wow! I'm absolutely flabbergasted that a cast member is actually on the list. I hope it's true. If so, I'm very glad to read your posting. How is your book coming? As a longtime fan of the show, and as a fan rediscovering it thanks to DVD, I'm very curious about the relationships behind the scenes - not who dated who sort of stuff, but rather how did you all manage to get educations while doing the show, were the older cast members mentors at all, and how would you contrast being a child actor in the 70s with being one now, or how did your experiences as a Walton kid compare with being a kid on one of the other 70s shows?
Sorry for all the questions, but I rarely get a chance to ask a celebrity questions or to interact with one when I'm aware of who they are ( once at a party I had a very enjoyable chat with a quite attractive woman without the pair of us exchanging names. I found out the next day that she was a prima ballerina with the National Ballet of Canada. I also found out I'd been working with her sister for four months.)
Once again, good luck with your book, and please keep us posted when it's out.
Herb

That is so funny because I just found out this past weekend that my husband went to school with Mary at St. Joseph the Worker. HE didn't even know. His sister is the one who told us.
