I’m watching Little House on the Prairie again today. It’s the Season 2 episode “Remember Me” about a dying woman who is trying to find a home for her children after she dies. The woman is played by Patricia Neal (Olivia in The Homecoming) and the oldest child, John Jr, is played by Radames Pera (Paul Mann In The Ceremony). Edited to add: I just remembered that the second son, Carl, was played by Brian Part, who also appeared in an episode of The Waltons, The Prophecy. He was one of the unruly children of one of John’s classmates along with Kami’s brother Jeff Cotler.  |

Today I saw William Schallert on a season 2 episode of Little House on the Prairie. William Schallert was Mr. Stanley Perkins on The Waltons. He was a character actor who appeared on many tv shows over the years.  |

William also played Patty Duke's father (and uncle) on the Patty Duke Show.
That's my earliest memory of William.

Waltons sightings on two episodes of “Little House on the Prairie” this evening. In the “Little Women” episode, I saw 2 Waltons actors, Rachel Longaker (Aimee Godsey) and Warren Vanders (Ham Denby).   In the “Injun Kid” episode, I saw Ivy Jones (Ann Harris Norton in 2 episodes of The Waltons).  Edited to add: I just noticed Willie Aames in the “Injun Kid” episode. He was JimBob’s friend Danny on The Waltons.  |

So glad Brenda showed a picture of Paul Michael Glaser. He had another Walton connection. I don’t know the year or the name of the episode. But, my Mom (not sure pre or post “Flossie”) was in the opening scene of a “Starsky and Hutch” episode dancing with Paul Michael Glaser who was undercover as a dance instructor “Ramon”.
I am almost sure it was pre - Flossie, since my Mom was skinnier than Flossie. It is such a cute scene. Mom LOVED to dance and, even overweight a bit, she had great legs - especially her ankles. The director obvious agreed since the first scene in the show is a close-up of my Mom’s ankles. The director was either Fernando Lamas or Ivan Dixon. But it was a fun episode!
Mom is wearing a grey wig and told me how darn hot and itchy she was. But, as they say- “The show must go on’ - even in an itchy wig!

Miss Tracey, I Googled the "Starsky and Hutch" show and the episode your mom was in was from 1976 and it was called Tap Dancing Her Way Right Back Into Your Hearts. It was from Season 2 and it was episode 9 of that season. Your mom played the part of Diedre. |

Thank you so much for the info Emmy. I guess I’m just too lazy to do simple searches. I think everything she or my Dad did is listed on the IMDB of each of them. I am sorry that you have to do the research, but it’s sure good to know! I appreciate it.
