I saw on youtube the other day where there was a Waltons fan club and reunion in Hartford CT where Richard doing a play at the time.Ray Castro was the president of the fan club at that time.I saw Carolyn Grinell on it.For those of you who were in the fan club at that time, did any of you go to it.I believe it was in the 1990s.They had clips of movies that Richard had done.He worked with Patricia Neal before, the movie was All Quiet On The Western Front, I do not know if any of you knew that.

I actually have that movie on VHS (for reals!) If it was his 47th it would've been in 1998. Cool find, sdw.

Hi, yes, I attended that event. It was very nice to meet Richard Thomas, but he arrived for a short time following the performance of his play, "Tiny Alice" by Edward Albee that we went to see on Saturday afternoon. I sponsored David Harper's attendance. Richard was nice, but left to attend a private birthday party at another place. Lots of other Waltons cast members were there. If you have any specific questions about, please put them here, and I will try to answer.
