I run a Facebook Page called We Want a New Waltons Reunion. As part of that page I set up a petition, in an effort to show support for a new reunion movie. I started the petition back in September and had pretty much given up on it as we were stuck at 1450 signatures. That was until Kami Cotler shared it on her Facebook page. Soon after that Judy Norton shared it and the next day Mary McDonough shared it. This AM Eric Scott shared it. The number has almost tripled in three days.
I know many of you are like me and want to see a new reunion. If you have not "liked" our Facebook page or signed the petition I would like to invite you to do so. A note on the petition, once you sign it the petition company will take you to a page that says your signature has been added, Right under that it ask for a donation. You DO NOT need to make a donation. That money goes to the hosting company. We are not asking for money at all.
Warm Walton Regards, Randy

I've already signed the Petition and liked the page. I hope they do a reunion.

I'm all for it, but I'm not on Facebook! Yes, I'm him, the only human being on the face of the earth without a Facebook page!
But I'd love to see another reunion movie. John-Boy is now working in Hollywood, creating a television show about his family growing up during The Depression.
And in my version of the movie, all of the unanswered questions would be answered. What happened to John Curtis? How about Ben and Cindy's son Charles? How about Cindy? Not to mention Jonesey? Did Elizabeth ever marry Drew? How many kids did Jason and Toni end up with? Did Erin ever remarry? Did Jim-Bob ever find the love of his life?
I know this post is five years old, but hey, I can hope, can't I?

Personally, I'm not so sure that a new reunion movie would be a good thing. There would be too many empty seats at the table.

As much as I’d love to see a Waltons reunion movie, I’m afraid it would turn out to be a disappointment. Earl Hamner is gone, and many of the writers are no longer with us. I’d be worried that they would enlist writers who don’t know and love The Waltons the way we do and wouldn’t do it justice, and I can’t imagine a Waltons movie without Earl Hamner’s narration. Also, there’s no John Walton, no Grandpa, no Grandma, no Baldwin sisters, no Ike and Corabeth, no Sheriff Bridges, no Cousin Rose. As Easton said, too many empty seats at the table. 😥
