I love the "Weary Willies" episode of Bonanza. Richard sang in the episode.

Wow, thanks for posting this episode. Richard was wonderful (except for his hair), and realize that he was a teenager when this episode was filmed!
The songs were composed by Michael Martin Murphey, best known for his 70s hit, "Wildfire"
When did the "Bonanza" theme song change? I used to watch the show mostly in the mid 60s and loved to hear the guitar driven theme song. Wonder why it changed?

That made me cringe. I could not make it past two minutes.
Who was singing the song and who put that nasty blonde wig on JB?
Desoto from Emergency looked the same.

One has to overlook the wig. It was unfortunately a product of the time of the episode (1970). If you can get past that it becomes an interesting episode and I thought Richard Thomas' acting was wonderful, particularly the final scene. All sorts of emotions indicated while holding his friend's hat, incredible acting from one so young but as they say, "your mileage may vary" EM

Who was the girl in that show? Didn't she also appear on the Waltons? I googled her and it did have to much info on her.
