I was wondering how many of Earl's books folks here have read. I have Spencer's Mountain, The Homecoming, You Can't Get There from Here, the Avocado Street Zoo, and Good-night John-Boy. I also have Earl's biography.
I was wondering what everyone thought of them and which was your favorite.
I really love You Can't Get There from Here. Wes' adventures are so funny and I love all the characters he runs into.

I've read the 'Goodnight John-boy" one and that has got to be the best one yet! So much information on the episodes and the cool quotes made by the actors and crew and even fans were a nice touch. RYAN J.

Hi Linday I've read Spencer's Mountain and Goodnight John-Boy. Like Ryan said about Goodnight John-Boy which has all the information on the episodes. Brenda recommend this website for anyone about the Walton's television show. www.the-waltons.com/epi-dir.html

I have Fifty Roads to Town, You Can't Get There From Here, The Homecoming (hardback and a paperback) Good Night John Boy, and Earl Hamner Biography. I need to get Spencer's Mountain yet!
My favorit of course is The Homecoming. The Biography is really good...I enjoyed that. I actually picked that one up when I went to Walton's Mountain last April at the Bed & Breakfast just in front of the Hamner home.
