...I'm sorry...but very glad to have found this new forum. I don't have anyone else to talk about The Waltons with. My husband calls them The Walnuts. My mom liked the series, but my dad didn't. Both of them are now gone.

Both of them are now gone. Boy can I relate!!!!!!!! However, my daughter is as big a fan as I am so we spend alot of time discussing The Waltons and our favorite episodes and characters. She just loves Mary Ellen (I think because she has spunk- just like herself) Pretty much everybody else pokes fun at us. But we don't care. WE ARE TRUE BLUE!!!! ;D ;D LoriJean

WE'RE ALL TRUE RED-WHITE-AND-BLUE WALTONS FANS! I know the feeling of being alone though. Always, when I pick a season off the shelf, a moan, a whine, a universal complaint arises. "No more Waltons" they declare. I guess we're all Walnuts!

I am a huge fan and while a casual fan during its original prime time run, I rediscovered the show in reruns, on what was then the Family Channel,in 1995 and have been hooked ever since. While there are those in my family who like the show, there are who don't really care much about it or have no opinion about the show. I am so glad I have found a place where I can be open about my love for the show along with other dyed in the wool fans. The more Walton fans, the better,so post away and welcome to the forum.
