I wanna play 'Caption This"; and I'd like to caption THAT photo: Who did this to me??

It can't be from "On the nickel". Here's a pic from it (pic says it's from 1980) The one you posted, he looks older. Ralph was in a 1996 film "Sioux city". He has a beard there. same time frame? Could be. You decide.

I haven't seen that photo before, ForeverWaltons, however... that next one posted by Dowsee ... WOW!!! What a hunk he was! Michael Learned was a lucky woman to have so many scenes with him. They exchanged so many loving looks to one another... you know they had to be real!

Ralph Waire was in an off Broadway production of King Lear in 2000. I saw an interview about it years ago. He would have been around 72 at that time, which would seem a more appropriate age for that picture.

I don't like Ralph Waite in either of those pictures.I liked his look in the later episodes of The Waltons and the Waltons movies, and DOOL.

Wow.. that was a wake-up moment! I kind of like it, but like him clean-shaven better. You know what has always baffled me, is why he never got his teeth fixed. Most movie stars have perfect teeth and his were some of the worst I have ever seen. I notice his teeth whenever he talks or smiles.. can't help it, and I stare at them.

Marilyn, I have often wondered that same thing myself. He surely could have afforded it. It's more noticeable because he was such a hunk otherwise. Maybe he was afraid he would be too perfect if he had them fixed- or maybe he was terrified of dentists!

With eyes like his, I can't say I've ever noticed his teeth before LOL I think if he would of had them done, it just wouldn't of been the same

I like his imperfect teeth. It's a part of him. So many actors/actresses get veneers, etc. and it drastically changes the way they look. Sometimes it even affects their speech. As long as the teeth are healthy, I think that's all that matters.
