Tracey,
I just came here to post this news but you beat me to it!! There still is no word about the tv movies made after the series ended. Hopefully they will release all of them together as a set like they did for Little House on the Prairie & Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.

Thank you for posting this. On the 8th season that I got delivered to me yesterday, I preordered it. There are 3 dvd's and on the back of the 3rd is the 2 hour Decades of the Waltons. I watched it and it was nice to see and hear Earl Hamner on this.
I so hope they do put out all the specials and movies too.

I am so excited about this. Now all nine seasons will be on DVD. Hopefully, the movies filmed in the '80s and '90s will be released as well.

Hey All! Sorry I've been away for so long. Lots of changes in my life & my family's lives it seems! ;D I'm so glad to hear that Season 9 will be released later this year! We still haven't gotten Season 8 (Funds are a tad tight these days) but were hoping to soon! The Box Art looks wonderful So happy they didn't try and retouch the photos or make them "Watercolorish" like last time! LOL. ;D RYAN J.

Have had a lot of time on my hands this week. My sister brought me season 8 ... yippee! Been stuck in bed and have gone through the entire season 8 in less than two days. Should I call Guiness? Anyone else out there go through the entire season in less time than that? I'd like to see if I broke the record! ;D Do I get a cookie? Lori, started to finish Gone With the Wild, but got side tracked by Jeffrey Burton! Geez Dianne

Not too impress about the art cover for the back.. They should put the Baldwins ladies dancing the one in "The Revel"...

Season nine, while not my favorite, seemed better than season eight. The first episode, "The Outrage" has always been one of my favorites. I remember the last few years the show was on I kept fearing it would be cancalled but luckily it kept coming back. No such luck for season ten!

The Pearls, The Gold Watch, and The Heartache are also pretty good season 9 episodes.
