I was watching The Carnival yesterday and noticed that one of the carnival workers was Gino Conforti. He played Felipe Gomez on later episodes of Three's company. Jack Tripper worked in a restaurant and Felipe had always wanted the head chef job, but didn't have the "schooling" to get the job.
Anyway, I also noted (and you've probably already discussed this before) that Tom Bower played a different character on the show before he was Curt. I watched season's 4: The Wing Walker today. Great episode!

Peggy Rea also played a landlady of Mary Ellen & Erin's before she "became" Rose Burton on The Waltons. She was the landlady in The Empty Nest aired on 9/21/78 - then came on board as Rose Burton on The Kinfolk aired on 9/27/79. Haven't we all at one time or another had someone tell us that they know someone who looks just like us or acts just like us? So wonder why Mary Ellen didn't tell Curt - you know you look just like a pilot that was here a while back. Do you have a twin brother? Then she really could have been wondering what was going on when Rose came. First Curt has a twin & now you look just like a landlady that Erin & I had at one time. The actress Linda Purl also played a snotty neighbor from the city on one episode, then later she played Curt's sister. I don't think she endeared herself to anyone on either episode. She was Alicia Hanover from the city on The Spoilers (1974). Then she was Curt's sister Vanessa in The Heartbreaker (1977). Tom Bower was Rex Barker in The Wing Walker aired on 10/23/75, then he returned as Dr. Curt Willard in The Wedding Part I aired on 11/4/76.

Great episode! Now that you mention that the guy you mention is the guy who played Felipe. You just don't realize it from years earlier sometimes. WmFan

I thought Linda Purl played a Jack Tripper girlfriend on Threes Company but was told otherwise. wonder what other tv appearances she made on. Her MPD or whatever
