ForeverWaltons probably felt that she was unfairly attacked in the adoption discussion. If so, I would have to agree with her.

ForeverWaltons probably felt that she was unfairly attacked in the adoption discussion. If so, I would have to agree with her. I think we all need to understand Scarlett's highly emotional situation and offer her our compassion.... FW should have been more open to hearing Scarlett's feelings.... it would have been better to continue the discussion with an aim toward more or deeper understanding. It is too easy to make mistakes in what we think we "hear." |

I hope Scarlett returns. However, I stand by my previous comment. I have a lot of problems -- and most of you probably have a lot of problems -- but I don't condemn people that are trying to help me.
While this post may just be making things worse, I thought the attack on ForeverWaltons was completely out of line, and I don't think it was right to just let her get trampled on. So, I offer my support to ForeverWaltons, because she did nothing wrong.

I like Scarlett, and I enjoyed reading her posts. However, I think it is very unfair to imply that Roger's remark was the reason she left. People leave the forum for various reasons, and unless she told some one why she was leaving, then no one really knows why, and it is wrong for us to speculate. I don't want to see Scarlett leave, but she made that choice. Now we should accept that and move on, not try to place the blame on someone. Maybe she will return someday, maybe not. I do wish her well in her search for her birth family and hope she finds the answers she needs to fill that void in her life. Scarlett, if you see this post, I hope you will keep in touch.
