It's ALLLLL my fault. I was pressuring her to have a keeper banner and she just couldn't take it anymore. Jerrrrrrri! Come back!

It's ALLLLL my fault. I was pressuring her to have a keeper banner and she just couldn't take it anymore. Jerrrrrrri! Come back! Hi, Nickie I'm slowly getting through all the posts I missed while away -- and this is too funny!! At the time, I was fooling around myself with keeper ideas -- like, I created one with Zeb, and another with Maude.... but couldn't manage to copy and paste into my profile -- which has long been the problem And it is ridiculously upsetting to me because in 1990 I was the very first "Graphics Specialist" at PepsiCo and I loved being "the star" of something.... Now, having been retired for so long, and with technology leaping ahead, I'm lucky if I can find different fonts. QUITE DEPRESSING I'm sure I'll get back (again!) to facing the keeper issue.... eventually.... and do certainly very much appreciate your efforts.... with hugs.

Aw, well hugs right back to you! I love that you used to do that for PepsiCo! What a cool job!
I use a site called bannerfans.com It has a ton of fonts/colors and is very user friendly.
When you're done creating your masterpiece, you click on "get the code" near the bottom of the page your banner is on. It will switch to a page full of codes. Right click onto the code for forums. Click on "copy". Go to your profile page and click edit. Go to your signature box. Right click inside it. Click on "paste" (The code you copied from Bannerfans will be transferred into your box) Then click on "save changes" at the bottom of that page.

Nickie -- thanks for the "instructions".... I'll get my courage up soon and give it a shot, for the umpteenth time!!
Re PepsiCo -- because I'd learned Harvard Graphics at Charles of the Ritz, they scooped me up.... and then it was Lotus's Freelance program, and finally PowerPoint.... spent most of my time doing presentations for upper management and teaching others, but my approach was more "desktop publishing" than following standards and ya just can't teach creativity.... I don't think they were happy with my lack of progress with teaching others. Tough!
On to more forum catch-up.....

Or just give the keeper to Brenda and she'll take care of it.

Jerijet, Marilyn is correct. If you want to send the keeper image to me, I can insert it in your signature.

If you go to tinypic.com and upload it there, you'll get a link and you can try copying and pasting it; then send it to Brenda. From there, she can save it to her hard drive and embed it in your signature. Maybe it'll help? Here are the instructions: 1. Click "Choose File" and select your picture you've created 2. Click "upload" 3. A pop up will appear with the code you need to enter 4. once you have typed it in, click "upload" 5. 4 links will appear. Make sure to copy and paste the last link under "Direct Link for Layouts". 6. Head on over to paste it to a pm for Brenda.

Jerijet, Are you uploading the image to the internet? Just trying to copy and paste it isn't going to work, because the image is still just on the hard drive of your computer.
I will send you a PM with my email address, and you can send it to me as an attachment.
