No, I haven't. Didn't know that Richard Thomas had written poetry. Did you buy the book?

I did not buy it... I'm not a poetry fan.

It was only $1.00? I'm not poetry fan either, but I think I would have bought it just because I am a Waltons fan. Where is this bookstore?

I guess it wouldn't be worth the drive. I found a copy of Earl Hamner's book The Homecoming at a used bookstore in Parkersburg, WV, once for $4.00. Yes, I bought it, took it to a reunion, and got it signed by Earl Hamner!

I found this today in a used bookstore... Has anyone seen this before? OMG, I bought one of Richard Thomas poetry books at the auction on my first year at the Waltons Fan Club Reunion in Lynchburg and Carolyn wanted to send it to Richard Thomas for an autograph but I never got it back. It seems that it got lost in the mail. We cannot get his books here in Germany and I am still searching for one of his poetry books. I would have bought it, sure !

You should have bought it for a buck. You could have sold it to one of these people for at least 10 dollars I bet.

Wow I never knew this book existed either. There are many used copies available thru private sellers on Amazon.com if anyone is interested. Note the original price of the book was $1.25! What I find funny is when I looked at the photo more closely, there's a book underneath it that I had to read in a class in college - The Crack in the Cosmic Egg. Definitely a cosmic coincidence!

Richard wrote 3 poetry books and I own a copy of each one. he always loved to read the old poets. One of the books is "Poems", published in 1974 or 75. Another one is "In the Moment New Poems by Richard Thomas," published in 1979. What is the name of the other book & what year was it published?

Yes, I read these poems in high school back in the early 80s. My high school library had them.
