The thing about the hands not working right, not cooperating, the feeling of just wanting to run away. I'm there and I can relate Livy!

Been there, done that -- it only lasts ten to twelve years

The hot flashes are the worst. And sometimes absolutely everything gets on my nerves. My menopause started at 38 because I had to have a total hysterectomy, ovaries too.

I'm there now. Started 6 years ago. Sometimes I feel like I'm sleeping in an oven. Then I'm happy one minute nervous and jittery the next, then depressed. I hate to think I have another 4-6 years of this!

ARGH!

Oh man, I'm not looking forward to this...at all! I already should be locked up when I have PMS. I get mad at little things, and I get very emotional...crying over dumb things. I saw my mom getting hot flashes a lot. She told me it feels like your burning from the inside out. Why are the women the lucky ones?

I hate to think I have another 4-6 years of this! I have a friend who is 80.... still having hot flashes !! She's a riot -- keeps all her younger friends in stitches over this -- and is "helpful" to those just starting up because she makes it all seem like fun -- a right of passage !!!

If men had to go through half of what women did, the human race would die out. And yet women are considered the "weak ones".

If men had babies the world population would be half of what it is because they would stop after the first one.

I read up on this perimenopause stuff and read that our brain is estrogen-starved, so we go through what people go through when they are going off a drug they are addicted to. Our brain is losing estrogen, so we suffer......for awhile...sometimes years and years!
