If there had ever been an episode around a Walton Halloween, (back in an early season when all the children were home and small), what would they have dressed up as? What would the story line have been? Who would have loved Halloween the most?

Just curious -- Your questions are still interesting and worth pondering.....

Good topic - here are some of my ideas: John-Boy as a writer, maybe Hemingway Jason as a country musician, maybe Gene Autry Mary Ellen as a nurse Erin as a princess Ben as a ? Jim-Bob as a pilot Elizabeth as a ? Jim-Bob and Elizabeth as the youngest would have enjoyed Halloween the most, although I think Ben would have enjoyed scaring the girls.

I think Ben and Maryellen, and then Ike would have had the most fun with Halloween. I could also see the Baldwin sisters doing a special brew..smile.

Two episodes were similar to Halloween incidents. The most obvious one was The Changeling{Poultry Ghosts according to Ike}and the other was The Ferris Wheel.

Even with the other post about Halloween, I think this is a fun question. Like Carol said, I think Elizabeth would have dressed up as Jessica Girl Spy for sure and Jim Bob most likely would be an airplane pilot. Mary Ellen and Erin may have dressed as some movie star.
The story line could have been: A fall festival held in the barn with bobbing for apples and a hayride where they all end up at the Baldwins for some homemade candy, punch and the telling of ghost st to solve the mystery of who left a half eaten pumpkin pie on the neighbors back porches, Everyone thought there was a prowler on the loose up to no good and it turns out it was just Ike playing an All Hallows Eve Joke on everyone.
