I like the one where one of the children has left home and they try to sleep.Olivia ask John when he is comming to bed, He can't so they both go downstairs for coffee. another one is when Jon works on the barn and ends up with pneumonia, goes to hospital and Olivia stays by is side.

There are of course many scenes I love of this couple, but one I realized I loved hit me yesterday when watching an episode is of them sat on the porch together, either just sat next to each other (then later snuggle) or snuggled to begin with. The Episode I was watching yesterday was when Mary Ellen has her baby and Elizabeth is doing the Ironing and takes the shirt out so Olivia can check it to make sure its ok, to begin with they are just sat talking then after Elizabeth goes back in they snuggle so warming and cute <3 They are the cutest couple ever ;D

They have many great moments. I really liked their scene on the beach in The Honeymoon and The Anniversary is a great one too. I have a question though, in the videos that i've seen of John and Olivia there is one that I would like to know what episode it is from, they are kissing outside by the bushes or something like that? I don't know, but it's in this video at 1 min The Waltons: John & Olivia - It's Your Love

That youtube video shows all the good John and Olivia moments. Kudos to the person who put that together.

This is a no brainer for me. I've seen the episode don't know how many times but am blocking on which one right now.
in the episode the Baldwin sisters came over and offered to adopt Jason. Obviously the shocked Walton parents didn't agree to the idea. In the bedroom Olivia is steamed. John is trying to ease the tension. - 'Can't you see the humor in this?' And Livvy saying ' I don't have to laugh' or some such. Eventually they do see the humor, kiss and make up.

The one you are describing is The Thanksgiving Story. I like that one too.

This is shot outside.
It is the episode where they built furniture in advance of payment and the order falls through cause some pipes burst and flood a basement.
John gets upset and starts talking about going to the poorhouse with 10 waltons and Livey says that it is 11 waltons. John thinks for a moment and says he aint going to no poor house with a peacock.

What is the name of that episode though? I remember seeing one with the peacock, but for some reason I don't remember that John/Olivia scene.

What is the name of that episode though? I remember seeing one with the peacock, but for some reason I don't remember that John/Olivia scene. That just might be 'The Test' - where John makes the furniture and the order falls through. They are waiting for a man to collect the order and instead of paying John for it he tells him he cannot pay him because he has not been paid himself. Olivia then takes a job as a dressmaker for an old friend who has a boutique in the town and in the end decides not to go to New York with her friend. The only other episode I can think of where John makes furniture in advance is in one of the reunion specials when he has employed Drew and they go to deliver them and the shop owner has closed up and ceased business. That could be the ep where John-Boy gets married.

My favorite moments were when they renewed their vows on their twenty anniversary, and when they celebrated their twenty fifth anniversary when they danced the night away.
