Personally speaking, I like it most when John and Olivia smirk at each other and decide to "go for a walk in the woods." Humorous, endearing and understandable. Practical, even. LOL. That's where I was heading with my comment. ;D

I can't remember the name of the episode... I'm bad at that, but John was out by the barn working on a car I think. Livy walked out on the porch, stood there til he looked up at her. They both locked eyes, grinned at each other for awhile, then she turned and walked back into the house. He watched her every step of the way, grinned some more, then went back to what he was doing. That moment was priceless! Marilyn, this episode called "The Inferno" season 5.

There was one episode where John was going off to work somewhere for a week and he told Livvy, "I'm going away...wanna take a walk?" LOL.
I also LOVE "The Anniversary".
Ralph and Michael could make even the most mundane scene electric with a touch, or a glance, or a naughty little smirk. I've never envied a couple as much as I do John and Livvy. They're beautiful.

Marilyn,
I know you are a big fan of John and Olivia which I am too. There is a bunch of episode(s) that I see very closely between the two of them in a secret way of touching or smiling each other while filming the show.
Season 3: "The Conflict" part 2 scene where they shows Martha Corrine the new house watch very carefully and you might want to click slow motion on your remote control where Martha Corinne is fascinated by the electric lights as she turns them off and on while Olivia was standing by the door frame next to Martha, look very carefully where John pinched Olivia's butt.
Season 4 "The Abdication" where the family relaxes in the living room, trying to see who can touch their hands to the floor while standing up. Pay attention to Olivia where she's sitting next to John and she tickled him.
"The Fox" in the scene where all the kids gather in the living room while Erin is doing the dishes. Watch John and Livy with their eye contact each other.
Season 5 "The Baptism" in the scene where John Boy brought Mary Ellen home from nursing school while John and Olivia are pushing Elizabeth in a swing, before they all walk into the house watch carefully where Olivia patted on John's butt
"The Inferno" - at the very end of the scene where John Boy ask his Grandpa to run an errand with him after he finished his story just in time to make his deadline and he said no so Gandpa changed his mind when he sees Olivia holding a potted geranium. John decides to take the rest of the morning off.
Season 6 "The Volunteer" in the scene where Olivia walked over to the smokehouse because she heard Grandpa yelling John right after G.W. does show up to take Erin to work much to her relief after she turned down his marriage proposal the night before. John and Olivia were eye contacted each other...

My favorite John & Olivia moment. Is, when their by the fireplace. He's a newspaper & she's knitting. Or any other episodes, has them by the fire place. I also like, when their on the porch. Just two of them talking, enjoying the scenery.

Tracey, you really have a good eye and memory! I'm going to print out your list and watch these episodes. I really am touched by their love for one another. To me it's the perfect marriage! Thanks for taking the time to type out all that info. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy watching these little tidbits!

Without a doubt it is the exchange between Olivia and John in a scene from 'The Shivaree' S3, Ep.20..... It is after the incident when the men play the prank on Bob and wreck his wedding night - Liv and John are discussing how Bob 'sat up all on night in a chair' when he should have been...well, you know..... And John says 'No son of mine is going to spend his wedding night sitting in a chair'.... to which Livvy says very cheekily......'No son of yours WOULD!'.....the smirk she gives him:) John looks at her and says....'Well Olivia Walton!'......

Dont forget about Day of Infamy. Before they knew the horror that was happening with Pearl Harbor they were out in the woods somewhere getting their Christmas tree. On the way home they were singing Christmas Carols before they got home and heard from the family what was going on with Pearl Harbor and Curt getting killed. Even so towards the end of the episode they put up Christmas decorations and sang Christmas carols to distract them from what was going on at Pearl Harbor. Very touching and great John and Olivia moments in joy and crisis and it was always that way. They were close in the Kennedy Assasination episode or that was a reunion movie but still the same loving and strong John and Olivia

Am watching 'A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion' right now....almost towards the end where Liv and John are sitting up late chatting and John says...
'Come on up to bed'....and Liv says...'and...?'
And John says...'We'll talk about it upstairs...'
Ya gotta love those two.
