How exciting! Is she back from her trip? Because I was under the impression Michael was in Hawaii the last couple weeks. Dianne

She's been at her vacation home here on the main land most of the summer, not sure if she went to HI or not.
She bought something cool, a floating trampoline for the lake for the grandkids. They say it's harder than it looks to stay up on, the grandkids look like they're having to struggle to balance themselves on it. When she came here for a visit she brought a photo album and when i saw the trampoline on water I wanted one!! Anybody here have a trampoline that floats on water? if ya do, how is it? Michael's home until rehearsals for play starts.

Michael Learned writes.....I'd love to visit with any fans who choose to come and see the show.
Bend, OR – Film Oregon Alliance and Innovation Theatre Works are pleased to announce a very special evening event at the Tower Theatre on September 22nd at 7:00 p.m. entitled A CONVERSATION WITH MICHAEL LEARNED. Ms. Learned, a four-time Emmy Award®-winning actress, is starring in Innovation Theatre Works upcoming production of Driving Miss Daisy which opens on September 20th at The Tower Theatre.
This sixth education event offered by Film Oregon Alliance for 2008 in its mission to promote educational outreach programs to the community and the region, is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.
The evening will include an in-depth heart-to-heart discussion moderated by FOA Director of Cinema Arts Education Patricia West-Del Ruth followed by a Q&A session with the audience. Doors open at 6:30pm and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Call the theatre and ask where the stage door is located and after the show go wait at the stage door. If there is a guard tell the guard that Michael had a friend post on the Walton forum for her that Michael said she would love to visit with any fans who choose to come and see the show.

It's one I found on the internet. Just wanted those who've never seen one to see what they look like. Trampoline looks like a lot of fun to me. I'm still a kid at heart.

Bren, I checked the Tower House web. Thanks for posting it. Do you have any idea when Driving Miss Daisy will be playing near Florida (or if they will be)? I have a friend who is really wanting to go. Thanks, Dianne
