What color are you going to paint it? I think the Walton's truck was green but on some episodes it looked blue. Growing up watching the waltons on tv we only had a B&W tv so it looked black ;D

The truck is going to be painted Rock Moss Green..That is the color it was from the factory and also is the same color as the waltons truck. This board has given me new enthusiasm to finish the truck as quickly as possible. I cant wait to finish and get behind the wheel. ill keep you posted. dennis

That's a great lookin' truck. That is so cool that you're going to paint it the same original Ford color. It looks similar to the color the cab is now. I think on the series, sometimes they made the paint look badly oxidized to make it look old. Then in some episodes, it looked "cleaner". Thanks for posting the picture. |

You live between Albany and NY City then? I live between Rochester and Syracuse. Hey! there are a few of us Walton fans in NY. Maybe we should form our own Walton Fan Club Chapter in NY! I have a friend named Becky that lives near Cicero.
