RIP Eileen McDonough
Eileen was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 20, 1962. She passed away peacefully in Van Nuys, CA on March 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe; mother, Loretta; and sister, Elena. She is survived by her daughter, Raeleen; brothers, Joe and Eddie; and sister, Lori.
Eileen was an accomplished theater and child actress and member of the Screen Actors Guild. Eileen was loved by all and will be deeply missed. A private memorial service will be held in the future.

I just saw the episode with Patsy and JimBob the other day, this is so sad to hear she has passed away.

Patsy was played by more than one character. two if not three girls played her.
Either way, she was way too young to pass. This makes her the first of that age group to pass doesn't it?

Thats really sad to heaqr about the actress who played Patsy Brimmer passing. She was a cute young lady on the Waltons. You said her last name was McDonough but she had no relation to Mary McDonough/Erin. Guess not or you would have mentioned it. RIP Eileen McDonough/ Patsy Brimmer Years ago the actress who played Flossie Brimmer passed away also so now they are in Waltons heaven forever   |

I am so sorry to hear this---Wmfan the question was already asked and answered by Mary herself that Eileen was not Mary's sister. RIP

Thanks Scarlett, I did know Patsy was played by two or three different girls, I have no idea how I missed episodes with the other girls, or maybe I was not paying that much attention, or could be my memory is as bad as i believe it to be...LOL
If she is not related to Mary Beth she sure looks enough like her to be her sister.

I just read where Eileen had two brothers and two sisters. Sadly, one of her sisters passed away just a month after turning the age of 17 in 1975.
