Four years later and we are thinking the same thing!  I will try to start one but I really don't remember where everything (towns, etc.) were located. One would have to watch all of the episodes to try to figure it out.

I did one once -- a very long time ago and will probably come across it again some time !! There are a few things we do know.... Ike's was a half mile from the Waltons' house, the church was between them, closer to Ike's.... and the school was beyond Ike's, on the way to the actual little town, where Flossie's rooming house was.... I think!
Not sure if Fannie's was in Waltons Mtn or Rockfish, which was 6 miles away and where Ep's office was....
We also know that the Baldwins' was about two miles away.... and Verdie's house was within fairly short walking distance from the Waltons.... Charlottesville was about 21 miles, and the college (Westham?) was 24.... Not sure about Scottsville, but I think it was closer than Charlottesville.
Can't remember where I put Drucilla's Pond exactly, but closeby .... nor the cabin used so frequently in the series.... (up the mtn ?)
At one point, I had episodes cited for this info but never got my notes onto my pc, so that's something else I'll have to find ... and, of course, the info probably changes from time to time (episode to episode) !! |
