Hi everybody,
I think that one of the many merits of this wonderful TV show is that every person has been deliciously represented, each one with his own temper and his thoughts, so I've been looking for find a phrase which represents pretty well each member of the family.
This is what I've thought so far: Olivia Walton: Supper is ready! John Walton: C'mon, we have work to do! Ben Walton: Ok dad. / Yes, Sir (after being reprimanded). John-Boy Walton: (writing at his desk, in the house) "Come in". Grandma Esther Walton: You old fool! Grandpa Zebulon Walton: You stubborn woman! Ike Godsey: Hi, what can I do for you? Corabeth Godsey: Oh Mister Godsey!!! Miss Emily Baldwin: I remember Ashley Longworth... under the maple tree and a shower of golden leaves swirled about in the autumn wind."
Still to find: James Robert "Jim Bob" Walton; Elizabeth Walton; Erin Walton; Jason Walton; Miss Mamie Baldwin; Mary Ellen Jones;
If somebody has better mottos, or would like to suggest something else, feel free to do that!
Ciao from Italy!
