When Grandma came home, which was his last episode before he passed away.

I like the episode when Grandpa thinks he's dying after seeing a meteor. I love the episode when Grandma and Grandpa move out for awhile after they feel unappreciated by the rest of the family. "The Heritage" shows Grandma and Grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary. I love the scene when they sit on the hill and reminisce about their marriage. The episode about Grandpa's heart attack is a well-written and well-acted episode. "The House" is a well done Grandma and Grandpa centered episode. The episode when Grandpa wants to visit Grandma in the hospital after her stroke and raises cane in the lobby is great also, especially at the end when Mary Ellen opens the shade in Grandma's room so Grandpa can say good night to her. "Grandma Comes Home" is bittersweet because it is Ellen Corby's first episode after her stroke and Will Geer's last episode before his death. "The Empty Nest" is wonderfully done the way it pays tribute to Will Geer and Grandpa Walton.

How about The Revelation where he 'spikes' the punch that Elizabeth and her 'boyfriend' George Simmmons are serving and Corabeth blows her stack at both Ike and Grandpa--- MR GODSEY1 ZEBULON WALTON!

I don't think there's an episode where I don't cherish his performance....

There are so many and Will Geer was not only an excellent actor, he was a man of wisdom. I can't pick any one moment, but the ones I enjoyed most were when Zeb prayed and would go on forever while John said "Amen" and when he would instruct the children on topics of nature, bringing to the character ofZeb Will's own interest in botany. And on top of that, Zeb could quote literature (my favorite is his recitation of "Jenny Kissed Me," the poem by Leigh Hunt, because my wife's name is Jenny) and he had a repertoire of familiar (and unfamiliar) sayings. which surely encouraged the children to take education seriously. He had as sense of humor, yet understood the serious business of living and the need for compassion for others. Zeb was a wonderful role model for the Walton children and, hopefully for the actors who played them.

Wasn't it called "The House"?
That episodes bothers me because of the lack of desire to communicate what is wrong on grandmas part. Grandpa is not a mind reader.

Grandma remembers the dances there and thinks Grandpa has forgotten....to me I think Grandmas attachment to the house is a way of keeping her youth and memories alive...and it hurts to think that your mate may not feel the same way...but in the end the window, proves Grandpa does still have a love for the house too

Way too many to chose just one. But I do like his final scene, when Grandma grabs the broom, swings it and hits him. He was so thrilled to have Ester back he grabbed her up in his arms and spun around on the porch with her. When he stopped they hugged each other and Grandma's expression said "Everything's as it should be now."
