Hi everybody,
perhaps all of you know this song, but I'm from Italy, and I've listened to it just yesterday.
Its words remind me... well, I am pretty sure you know what!
------------------------
Country Roads - John Denver
Almost heaven West Virginia Blue Ridge mountains Shenandoah River Life is old there older than the trees younger than the mountains growin' like a beeze
Ref. Country Roads take me home to the place I belong West Virginia Mountain mama take me home my country roads
All my mem'ries gather round her Miner's lady stranger to blue water dark and dusty painted on the skies misty taste of moonshine teardrop in my eyes
Ref.
I hear her voice in the morning hours she calls me the radio reminds me of my home far away and drivin' down the road I get a feeling that I should have been home yesterday yesterday
Ref.
--------------------------
Does anyone know other songs which describe beautifully the places where Waltons lived?
Ciao From Italy!

Do You Know Where You're Going To reminds me of Mary Ellen in the early episodes. She never knew what she wanted other than she didn't want to be a wife/housekeeper on Walton's Mountain her whole life.
