Headin to University of Virginia on Tuesday for check ups and such, hoping to stop by the Waltons museum, since I've never been and had a question for you who have been there. Am I allowed to use my power chair there and will it be accessible for me? If you all would let me know I'd appreciate it.

I would think they would be, but hopefully someone will come along soon enough and let you know. I called their number to ask them about it and got a recording. I left a message for them to call me back. If you don't get an answer before I get their call-back.. I'll let you know. I'm jealous and wish I could go with you!

Courtney' I was at the museum in September, and if I remember correctly everything is on one floor. No steps or anything. I don't know why there would be a problem with your scooter. It is a great place to visit; enjoy your trip, and good luck with your check-up.

Coalminerswife- you will have to tell us how you enjoy the museum! I have wanted to go ever since I heard about it over 10 years ago not long after I was first introduced to the show! I live near Toronto, but I am hoping to go next year if I can make it to the reunion. -Kristy
