Rec'd from the news that James MacArthur passed away at the age of 72 on Oct 26. He was Clay boy on Spencer's Mountain and was a famous from Hawaii Five O.

He was also Helen Hayes' son. So sad learning about this. Ironically,"Hawaii Five-O" tried making a comeback just recently. I will always remember when James MacArthur played Danno and Jack Lord's line, "Book him,Danno". Rest in peace,James MacArthur.

Sorry to hear of Mr. McArthur's passing. I too, remember the "Book him, Dano" line. I still hear that from time to time. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

I always thought that he played in the sound of music as the messenger boy.

Pearl Harbor occurred on his 4th birthday---
I know someone who was born Decebmer 7,1957, and he says that was why he was always interested in aircraft and the history of World War II.
