There are not words to express the satisfaction I feel in my heart today. Because of our Walton fans and Mr. Joe Conley, our 2010 fall reunion was a great, big success!!! YOU MADE IT HAPPEN by supporting us with your presence! It was a great time renewing old acquaintances and meeting new friends. WOW, what a week-end! However, it still makes me sad when I think of not being able to go to Schuyler with all of you on Saturday morning. Sometimes, we "OLD" folks have our health issues. This inner ear problem is not a pleasant thing to have. I have so-ooooo enjoyed looking at all the pictures Dagmar and Manfred have posted. I have looked at them over and over again. Thank you Dagmar and Manfred for taking the time to post them for all of us. Here is a hug and kiss for you: (((((((((( HUGS )))))))))) and kiss I trust y'all enjoyed our display tables in the Sweetbriar Ballroom. I especially enjoy reading the magazine with Spencer's Mountain stories. Would you believe all of those display items are still packed in my van. I will eventually unpack everything. I am looking forward to our 2011 reunion. I am already working on our plans. As y'all know we will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of "THE HOMECOMING" next year. I hope everyone will get the dates on their calendar. Here is the information you need at the moment: WHAT: Walton's Int'l Fan Club Fall Reunion WHERE: The Kirkley Hotel, 2900 Candler's Mtn. Rd., Lynchburg, VA. WHEN: October 21 and 22, 2011 Make your plans now to join us. There's only 358 more days and once again we'll head toward the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. By the way we had 19 states and Germany represented at our 2010 reunion. Thanks again to all of you who attended the reunion and to those of you who donated items for the auction. You are loved and appreciated more than you'll ever know.

Dear Sweet Carolyn, Once again you did such a wonderful job (well, we cannot call it a job-it is more like a mission) bringing everyone together, making everyone feel special and continuing all of the good feelings we fans have for our Waltons. I feel very lucky to have been able to attend. Thank you, dear lady. It was a pleasure to meet new fans. Ryan, I saw your name and postings on this forum when I used to come here daily before the format changed. It was really fun seeing you in person and having you as my sqaure dancing partner. That was a lot of fun! I have finally figured out how to post here and have enjoyed reading and catching up here. Joe Conely and his wife were sweethearts. Very easy to meet and talk to. Great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. The Virginia landscape was glorious too. Agnes, well you know I had a great time with our new found square dancing. great to have dinner with you and Bobby too. Dagmar, I just introduced myself to you at the end of Saturday night-very late. I am pleased you had such a good time. Tell your husband, I am sorry I did not meet him too. I am sure you are enjoying the rest of your trip. I look forward to seeing you again in California in 2 years. Brenda, always good to see you-Angel Annie and Big Bruno-wouldn't have been the same without you. Carolyn, please tell Bonnie how much I love her and was happy to sit next to her. Carolyn did a beautiful tribute to Walton fans who we have lost. We had a lovely candlelit memorial. The poem Remember Me was read. There was also a table with pictures of those we have lost. Then, My Wild Irish Rose was played and all were invited to get up and dance. I only wish Grandma and Granpa were dancing in front of us but surely they and all the others were on our minds and in our hearts. Carolyn organzied an auction of Walton memoribilia as she said. We do this to raise money to bring cast members in for the reunions. It is always a good deal of fun. This year, Carolyn had an auction table just for the children. You should have seen these cute little people bidding on coloring books, paper dolls, books, a truck, wooden toys-so sweet. New Walton fans. David Harper sent the most beautiful letter that was auctioned off with one of my favorite episodes, The Fawn. It was so heartfelt and emotional.

Carolyn,
I'm going to mark it down on my calendar and will try to attend. I've been wanting to come so bad and but something always comes up first. This year I couldn't attend because of my 25th high school reunion was held in Dallas, Texas.

Carolyn, It was so great meeting not only Joe Conley and his wife but you and other fan club members. Thanks for beings so helpful to me, since it was my first trip to a reunion. My sisters were very interested in what I did and I think at least one of them will go with me next year. Yesterday I was finally able to watch the cast gathered for their Reunion on the Inspirational Channel and when it ended, I wanted more. It was great being able to ask Joe Conley questions. I guess you and the fan club members who have had a lot of contact with the stars over the years have had an opportunity to talk to them a lot of times and ask them lots of questions. I am a real late -comer, but I love the show very much. Thanks again, Carolyn.
